Our client, a leading global company in its field, is looking for a Global Travel Manager.

Position Summary
Experienced and strategic Global Travel Manager to oversee and optimize corporate travel program across all regions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing travel policies, vendor relationships, cost control, travel systems landscape and configuration and ensuring a seamless travel experience for employees worldwide. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of global travel logistics and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel Program Management: develop, implement, and maintain global travel policies and procedures aligned with company objectives and employee needs.
  • Vendor & Supplier Relations: manage relationships with travel service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, travel agencies, car rental companies, outsourcers, etc.) to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: monitor travel spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Team Management: organize, motivate, mentor and manage a Team of internal professionals globally distributed.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including duty of care, visa requirements, and travel risk assessments.
  • Technology & Tools: oversee travel management systems and platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, updated with the latest versions of policies, and integrated with other corporate systems.
  • Employee Support: provide guidance and support to employees regarding travel arrangements, reimbursements, and policy adherence.
  • Sustainability & Innovation: promote sustainable travel practices and explore innovative solutions to improve travel efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Travel Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate travel management, in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of global travel regulations, visa processes, and travel risk management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in travel management software and reporting tools; experience with SAP Concur will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work across cultures and time zones.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
