Your new company
We are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to strengthen the team and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across biomethane production and project development sites. This role will be key in monitoring, implementing, and continuously improving HSE systems while promoting a strong safety and sustainability culture.
The position will cover multiple biomethane plants and project sites located across Lombardy and Veneto, ensuring consistent HSE standards and supporting operational teams in both regions.

Your new role
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and EU health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support risk assessment and risk management processes at operational sites and construction areas.
  • Contribute to the drafting and updating of HSE documentatrice such as Risk Assessment Documents (DVR), Emergency Plans, Safety Operational Plans (POS), H&S Coordination Plans (PSC) and procedures.
  • Monitor HSE performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct internal HSE audits and support external audits by authorities or clients.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on health, safety, and environmental topics to staff and contractors.
  • Manage relationships with consultants, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with technical, operations, and construction teams on environmental and safety evaluations of new projects.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementazione of the company’s environmental sustainability strategy.

What you need to succeed
  • Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Safety Engineering or in Occupational Health & Safety or related disciplines.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably within industrial or energy sectors (e.g., oil & gas, renewables, biogas/biomethane).
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian Legislative Decree 81/08 and environmental regulations.
  • Certifications or qualifications (e.g., RSPP, ISO 14001/45001 auditor) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with main HSE standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, EMAS).
  • Strong communication skills, proactivity, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluent in Italian, with good command of technical English.

The salary package and job level will be defined based on the candidate’s actual experience and starting point, with an indicative range between €30,000 and €45,000 plus bonus.
